Possible 2D Images

So, now that I think I may be on the right track for these 2D images, I have been messing around on Photoshop most of the night. Posted what I have came up with so far.
The first image is a bunch of wires from my laptop, lying on my bed. The second is the living room curtains, but I kinda cut and pasted them in layers to look different (I don't like that one tbh) and the last one is a book. (: Gonna try have another 5 or 6 done tonight. Then hopefully that will be all my 2D images done!

Im finally getting the hang of this...

Ok, so I went around my flat and took like thirty pictures of random things that I thought looked pretty cool and that I could mess around with on Photoshop and change the perception of. I have no idea what I am going to do with them yet, but I have chosen a few of my favourites (posted on here) and I think I will just spend the remainder of the night messing about with Photoshop, hopefully I will come up with two pretty good ideas?! Probably not though. Im putting my animation to the back of my mind for the weekend, plan is to get the 2d images out of the way and hopefully get Inga's approval of them on Monday. Then Monday and Tuesday is being dedicated to Audio coursework. Try and get my radio advert out of the way, I haven't even started this yet, so it may take a little longer, need to think of a good script =S So say, that will take me to the end of the week to finish?! Then I will concentrate on my flash animation. Need to make it look well more impressive. I am so not settling for a C, I don't care how much I actually suck at Flash, I will get good enough to at least recieve a low B!!! Right, on with the images anyway (:

I feel like crying...

I am completely lost. I have no creativity at all. I can't think of a single thing to draw. Spoke to Inga today about my work, finally understand what is wanted from the 2d images, only problem is I can't think of a single thing to "change the perception" of. I went around my flat when I got home and took note of all the possible things I could use, i.e the back of my sub speakers, the radiator panel, a wooden fence. But I can't really think of how I would change these, all I can think of is change their colours!? And as for my animation, well, Im currently only looking at a C, and there is no way I am settling for a C, so it's time to kick myself up the arse and sort that. Im going to dedicate the entire weekend to sketching ideas for my 2d images, animation and character. I've done both my scene and character, but Im not too keen on them, they aren't as creative as they can be. So in terms of Inga's work, Im back at square one with virtually no work done. :( such bad times. But I have sucessfully (with the exception of coffee everywhere and a broken perfume bottle) managed to move my sub closer to my laptop and am now listening to some rather loud Placebo. If anything is going to get me in the mood to be creative it is a few more cups of coffee and blasting Placebo. Wish me luck.

Such an unproductive weekend. Just been messing around on photoshop. Started developing my seed by sketching and painting a few fairy's. Then this wee random picture of "Nebuch" in the forest. God it's difficult painting on Photoshop without a tablet pen. =(

Wooohoooo!!!

Been working hard today. Finished my Visual Literacy essay (what a pain in the fucking arse) Finished my 2d images and I think I may possibly be finished my book scene, maybe develop it abit more. Thats my book scene above ^^ the scene I chose was a part in the book where the girl in it is lost in the forest at night, she has been drugged and it is raining. So I messed around with the colours a little, added a bit of an orange/red glow (as there is a camp fire near her, I wanted to make the fire myself but couldn't do it without it looking to flat) and then I darkened the edges a little, because I wanted to make it from her point of view, smudged the picture a little, to give the effect of her distorted vision, and then I added the rain effect. (:
Ive changed my final 2d image a wee bit, just cos I thought the last one was a bit flat. Just messed around with a few different effects and liked this one best. (: So now onto my character image, flash and my radio ad. Halfway through, Yasssss!!

Dooooodles...

Been sketching my wee head off this week. ^^ Quite proud of myself for commiting to doing so much work and actually sticking to my promise for once.
This is my first 2D image. It's quite crap but I'm not aiming for perfection, just a creative idea. I took a picture of a wall and messed about abit with the colours and hue etc on Photoshop to make it darker and give it a kind of moss effect. Then I took several pictures of my hand and arms and added these to the wall, they are supposed to be vines stretching across the wall. Not to great I know, but oh well, it shall do for now.
This is my second 2D image. I created this by simply messing around with different effects on Photoshop, rendering clouds, adding swirls and tampering with the colours and hue etc again. I like the finished product ^^
This is my third 2D image. I took one of the pictures I had taken of the Eiffel Tower from when I went to Paris (amazing times) Messed around abit with the colours and decided on this one, don't know why, I just liked the effect. I added frames around parts of the picture to make it look like several different photo's all in the one.
This is my final 2D image. I took a picture of myself and then on Photoshop I messed around with a few different effects and brushes until I created this "watercolour" effect.

So that's the 2D images out the way. Time to finish my essay and CivicMace file and then onto the rest of my pile of coursework. No rest for the wicked eh. =P
